Better Collective collaborates to form a new trade association for the Gambling Sector

In a bid to promote a safer gambling environment for consumers and socially responsible marketing of gambling products, earlier in the week, World’s leading iGaming affiliate, Better Collective, announced the co-founding of a new trade association, Responsible Affiliates for the Gambling sector.

As per reports, the trade association, dubbed, Responsible Affiliates in Gambling (RAIG), has been launched by the iGaming actors, Oddschecker, Racing Post and better Collective as they believe affiliate marketing providers need to play an important role in wider industry initiatives in the UK for promoting  safer gambling environment and social responsibility for consumers.

A contingency for obtaining a RAIG membership involves every single member being subject to an annual social responsibility audit. This audit is designed to ensure compliance with any additional measures which may be adopted over time by the pre-existing measures of existing statutory and non-statutory.

Speaking on the announcement, in a statement, CEO of Better Collective, Jesper Søgaard, stated: “For Better Collective, responsible and compliance gambling have always been core focus areas due to our vision and commitment to empowering iGamers. It is my utmost pleasure to be a co-founder of the initiative.”

As per reports, Clive Hawkswood was announced as the very first chairman of RAIG.
